Alex Stanford, Personal Trainer at Princeton Club-West, graduated from the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse with a Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science and Minor in Business Administration. Alex has worked with a variety of populations including middle school, high school, college, and CrossFit athletes. He has acquired multiple accreditation’s including the National Strength and Conditioning Association – Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA-CSCS), USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach, and the CrossFit-L1. Most recently he completed two strength and conditioning internships working with D1 college athletics, including the Wisconsin Badgers and the Minnesota Gophers.
Alex is originally from Verona, WI where he attended high school and competed year round in wrestling. While attending UW- La Crosse he was able to compete in CrossFit, and focus on his Olympic Weightlifting. Today, he continues to expand his knowledge in exercise science, and all modes of fitness. Outside of the gym, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family, card games, ball games, and anything outdoors.
