Dylan graduated from the University of Minnesota-Mankato with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science in 2018. He received his personal training certificate through the NETA program. Dylan has a background in strength and conditioning as well as mobility training. With your goals in mind, he can work with you to create an ability appropriate fitness plan, with the focus on strength, balance, and cardiovascular health.
Some of Dylan’s passions outside the gym include hiking the trails, camping in national parks, and trout fishing. Anytime the weather permits it, he finds a way to be outside and enjoying all that Wisconsin has to offer. Along with wrestling, Dylan also enjoys competitive Jiu-Jitsu, participating in as many tournaments as he can.
Dylan’s passion for fitness began through his love for sports and developed as a varsity athlete in wrestling. Before transferring to Mankato State, he attended UW-Stevens Point, were he was fortunate to be a part of the wrestling program. Being a collegiate wrestler taught Dylan about commitment, perseverance, discipline, and humility. He has carried these values over to his training mentality and is consistently trying to better himself and those around him.
Dylan started personal and group fitness training while attending Mankato State. As well as training staff and students in a one-on-one setting, he also taught classes, such as HIIT and CORE. Dylan has worked with a variety of clients ranging from young athletes to older adults wanting to increase their muscular strength and mobility. His own experience of rehabbing his shoulder injury has led him to continuously learn how to work through limitations and still progress towards any goal.
