Jake has been a Personal Trainer at the Princeton Club since 2009, he has a B.S. in Athletic Training from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and TRX Qualified Trainer. A Verona native, Jake’s love of fitness and strength training began at an early age by competing in high school athletics, and greatly developed through his work in sports medicine. Jake’s previous experience comes from working with collegiate athletes as a Certified Athletic Trainer in the prevention, assessment, treatment and rehabilitation of their injuries.
Jake’s knowledge of the injury and rehabilitative process helps him to work with clients that have a wide range of musculoskeletal problems. He has experience with previous knee and hip replacements, knee and shoulder surgeries, as well as a variety of ailments caused by muscular imbalance. Muscle balance plays a large role in correcting posture, and relieving pain in areas like the low back, shoulders and knees. Correcting imbalances allows for more successful weight loss and fitness programs.
