Katie Hemesath joins the personal training team at Princeton Club East with years of hands on experience in the health and fitness field. Katie holds her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Psychology and is certified through the American College of Sports Medicine. As a seasoned exercise specialist, Katie previously worked at a Medical Center in Dubuque, Iowa with a vast array of clients. She has mastered the ability to work with people of all ages and fitness levels ranging from youth athletes to post rehab training for older adults.
If you need low impact exercise that will work around injuries and limitations, or if you are an athlete training for a triathlon, Katie will design the perfect program for you. She has experience in low impact aqua training, TRX, strength training, high impact and low impact cardio expansion and endurance training. Needless to say, Katie has the ability and experience to take you where you need to go.
Katie’s inspiration for personal training stems from a lifetime commitment to fitness and exercise. She has over 11 years of experience in competitive running and still trains for endurance sports today! Katie personally understands what it’s like to overcome injury and surgery. In fact, Katie herself has come back from multiple injuries and knee surgeries. She believes deeply that fitness is a lifestyle and that speed bumps shouldn’t be an excuse to let your health suffer.
