Zach Klister

Adaptive Training Specialist
Madison East

As a member of Princeton Club for over two years, you may recognize Zach from around the club. Zach has been in the gym and weight room constantly since middle school and finds enjoyment and stress relief in working out. As a personal trainer, it is Zach’s goal to help people find improvement in quality of life and enjoy everything that come with being healthier.

Zach spent many years working in schools, primarily in social work before he became a trainer. Zach’s passion is helping people find solutions to problems and become happier. He wants to hear people’s stories and use them as a catalyst for their fitness journey.

Zach is an avid athlete and enjoys being outdoors. In 2016, Zach and his wife through-hiked the Appalachian Trail, hiking 2,189 miles from Georgia to Maine. In 2019, again, they packed up and did another long hike, this time over 560 miles in northern Spain. Along with Hiking, Zach’s favorite sports are basketball and rugby. Fun fact: Zach was actually a “capped” rugby player as he played in an international rugby competition in Puerto Rico.

Specializing in Adaptive Personal Training for individuals with special needs, Zach loves working with the Special Olympics and found major inspiration from Dick and Rick Hoyt, look them up! Zach also enjoys working with middle and high school students. Aside from fitness, you will often see Zach spending lots of quality time with his wife, Emily, and his son, Graham.
