Class Descriptions

AQUA FIT employs water’s natural resistance and support to provide you with a total body workout! This hour-long, no-impact class for all fitness levels emphasizes cardiovascular strength and endurance, as well as flexibility, range of motion, and core strength. No swimming skills necessary.

BODYATTACK™ is the sports-inspired cardio workout for building strength and stamina. This high-energy interval training class combines athletic aerobic movements with strength and stabilization exercises.

BODYCOMBAT™ is the empowering cardio workout where you are totally unleashed. This fiercely energetic program is inspired by martial arts and draws from a wide array of disciplines such as Karate, boxing, Taekwondo, Tai Chi and Muay Thai.

BODYFLOW™ is the Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates workout that builds flexibility and strength. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves, and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance.

BODYJAM™ is the cardio workout where you are free to enjoy the sensation of dance. An addictive fusion of the latest dance moves and hottest new sounds puts the emphasis as much on having fun as breaking a sweat.

BODYPUMP™ is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This workout challenges all your major muscle groups by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts, and curls. Great music, awesome instructors, and your choice of weight inspire you to get the results you came for — and fast! Please arrive at least 5 minutes before class to set up.

BODYSTEP™ Using a height-adjustable Step and simple movements on, over, and around the Step, you get huge motivation from sing-a-long music and great instructors. Cardio blocks push fat burning systems into high gear followed by muscle conditioning tracks that shape and tone your body. The BODYSTEP™ ATHLETIC variation uses short bursts of circuit-inspired functional training.

CXWORX™ A stronger core makes you better at all things you do, from everyday life to your favorite sports – it’s the glue that holds everything together. During the 30-minute workout, trained instructors guide you through correct technique as you work with resistance tubes and weight plates, as well as body weight exercises like crunches, and hovers. CXWORX™ is low impact and low cardio and caters to all levels.

CYCLE is an indoor cycling class where you take on the terrain with your inspiring instructor and ride to the rhythm of powerful music.

GGX GOLD A low-impact workout incorporating cardio, strength, core work and flexibility using weights and resistance tubing. Options and adaptations will be given as needed to make this a safe, effective workout for all ages.

MOi CYCLE is a group cycle ride that promises amazing results for cardio stamina and strength training. MOi uses a heart rate monitor for you to track your performance throughout class. All fitness levels welcome. Heart rate monitors are available to check out at the front desk with ID.

RPM™ is LES MILLS’ indoor cycling workout where you ride to the rhythm of powerful, motivating music!

SPRINT™ is a 30-minute High-intensity Interval Training (HIIT) workout, using an indoor bike to achieve fast results. It’s a short, intense style of training where the thrill and motivation comes from pushing your physical and mental limits. A high intensity, low impact workout, it’s scientifically proven to return rapid results. The 30 minutes you put into a LES MILLS SPRINT workout drives your body to burn calories for hours. You combine bursts of intensity, where you work as hard as possible, with periods of rest that prepare you for the next effort. The payoff? You smash your fitness goals, fast.

YOGA is a mind/body discipline that can improve your strength, balance, and flexibility while decreasing tension and stress through asanas (exercises), breathing, and relaxation. Appropriate for first-timers as well as those looking to strengthen the core of their practice.

-POWER FLOW (VINYASA YOGA) synchronizes dynamic flow of postures with breath. Poses of varying degrees of difficulties with options given to accommodate all levels.

-BEGINNING YOGA FLOW is a gentle introduction to the vinyasa practice. Extra attention is given to proper alignment, and how to modify a pose to meet the needs of your body.

-YOGA CORE is a yoga-based class with an emphasis on core work.

-YIN YOGA is a gentle class that focuses on deeply stretching the connective tissue in the hips, pelvis, and lower spine, bringing you into balance and leaving you totally relaxed!

WERQ Like dance-based exercise? You’ll LOVE WERQ! It’s the fiercely fun WERQout that brings current pop, hip-hop, and rock to the dance floor.

ZUMBA is an exhilarating, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party™!

  • I joined about four months ago for two years to start. I had used the facility about three years ago for physical therapy with UW so I knew what to expect. Three times a week I go to swim classes in the early mornings, do my physical therapy in the resistance pool ahead of time and enjoy the whirlpool after my classes. When the weather cools down I will add some walking and perhaps a yoga class to my schedule. I like meeting new friends and knowing that every time I go there will be friendly faces to greet me and EXCELLENT trainers leading my classes. Before I joined I had mentally committed to the membership. Now I am physically committed! Thank you, Princeton Club!
